Volunteers Needed To Staff The Electronics Recycling Fundraiser

Meadowdale Music and Arts Booster is hosting an Electronics and Appliance Recycling even to benefit the Arts at Meadowdale High School. The event will be on May 7th at MHS from 10- 3 pm.

 

We are needing 5 student volunteers and 2 adult volunteers to work the morning shift from 9:30am - 12:30 pm and another 5 student volunters to work the afternooon shift from 12:30 - 3:30 pm to help staff with the event and also solicit donations from recyclers

Clothes for kids needs us!

The Clothes For Kids volunteering event is on Saturday, May 7 at the Holy Rosary in Edmonds (630 7th Ave N, Edmonds, WA 98020), and they need us! We have traditionally worked with them in the past, and this year is no different. The first shift is from 5 PM to 8 PM, and the second shift is from 7:30 PM to 10 PM

 

The Clothes For Kids is a non-profit organization commited to meeting the supplemental clothing needs of all eligible children in a friendly, pleassant, and responsive environment that nurtures the self-esteem and enhances the learning and social experience of parent and child.

YMCA Kid's Night Out

Multicultural Night Volunteering!

What: Helping set Up/take Down. Fun night of food and cultural performances!

The first Read Across America event is Thursday, March 2nd, from 3:00 – 7:00 at the new Crossroads Center in Lynnwood (corner of 196th and Highway 99).   We have various volunteer shifts throughout that time period.

 

The second Read Across America event is Saturday, March 4th, from 10:00 – 3:30 in downtown Edmonds.  We have a need for guest readers in our reading room at Revelations Yogurt from 1:00 – 1:25, 1:30 – 1:55, 2:30 – 2:55, and 3:00 – 3:25.  We also have various volunteer shifts between 9:30 and 4:00 that day.

 

If you are able and willing to help out with this great event that supports our school libraries, please email me at anofziger@washingtonea.org with which date you want to volunteer and a general time frame that you are available.  If you want to be one of our guest readers on Saturday, please be specific with that request—it’s a LOT of fun!  I’ll plug you into a volunteer spot and confirm the exact time slot and “job” with you—first come, first served!

Where: Chateau Ste. Michelle winery in Woodinville.

MHS KEY CLUB BAKE SALE

Where: Lynnwood Library

When: Saturday June 10th, 11:00-2:00PM

What: 3-4 Volunteers each SHIFT to manage the table, volunteers to BAKE GOODS. (MUST BE WRAPPED, those with ingredients that people are allergic to should be labeled)

Where: Chevron next to Beverly Elementary

What: We need A LOT VOLUNTEERS to help during the wash. ALSO, those who have sponges, car soap, buckets, etc and would like to bring them, please tell me ASAP!!!
